Award Ceremonies, Fashion, And much more!

Hey Girls!
As always I'm gonna start off my blog with a what i wore today!

Today I went for a safari chic look. I wore a white gap jumpsuit ($50.00), a forever21 belt ($10.80), a pair of target peep toe wedges ($20.00), Marc by Marc Jacobs Faridah shoulder bag ($450.00), and Chamak by Priya Kakkar Set of 12 Pink Bangles ($198.00).
My Inspiration for this was Katy Perry's usual ensembles of short jumpsuits. I love the contrast in this particular one above. The pink and the blue is like girl meets boy. and the bracelet is the perfect touch!

Look of The Day:
ALICIA KEYS in Moschino
Alicia was simply stunning at the World Music Awards in a periwinkle strapless gown by Moschino and snappy fuchsia clutch.

Now for an Ashley vs. Vanessa:
SYDNEY
Proving their style status Down Under, Vanessa Hudgens goes glam in a BCBG Max Azria floor length white gown and loose updo, while Ashley Tisdale shows some skin in a lacy mini, slick ponytail and metallic sandals.

SYDNEY
For an Australian photo call, Hudgens keeps it casual in skinny black J Brand jeans, a purple tank and patent gladiator heels, while Tisdale is perfectly beachy in a black and white belted floral maxi dress and jeweled cuff bracelets.

I really Love my...
PF FLYERS
Transformers star Shia LaBeouf keeps his footwear comfortable and constant in a retro pair of PF Flyers sneakers.

JAMES JEANS
From the red carpet to the streets, Jennifer Garner keeps her all-American style with James Maternity "External Graphite" jeans.

Hit Or Miss?
MISCHA BARTON
Never one to shy away from a fashion risk, the star tries a feather-skirted Monique Lhuillier frock and metallic Stuart Weitzman heels for the Lupus L.A. sixth annual Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS
Keeping it simple in a little black Stella McCartney tube dress and matching pumps, the actress attends the AFI Festival premiere of Wendy and Lucyin Los Angeles.

Taking a classic approach in a gray sheath dress and peep-toe pumps, the singer celebrates her album release at London's Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Sticking to her signature color, the mom of six looks radiant in her basic black Ralph Lauren dress and nude Stuart Weitzman peep-toes for the DVD release of Kung Fu Panda in Hollywood.

The trio are Down Under to promote their big screen release, High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Hey its Kerry Washington our style star of the week at the Fashion Group International's 25th Annual Night of Stars.

And here she is again at ELLE Magazine's 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute.

Now onto theWorld Music Awards:
Barbara Bach and Ringo Starr
Another Brit who did us proud at the awards was Ringo Starr who flew to Monaco with his wife, former Bond Girl Barbara Bach. The drummer accepted the Diamond award on behalf of The Beatles for their contribution to music. The band have sold more records than any other act in history. When collecting his award, Ringo said that he’d like to thank his “three buddies” George, Paul and John. “I had a lot of help,” he added, “I couldn’t have done it alone. Peace and love.”

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon
Fresh from her stint in London on the X-Factor on Saturday night, world-class diva Mariah Carey arrived at the awards in Monte Carlo with husband Nick Cannon. Flaunting her curves in a vibrant red dress (which is turning out to be this season’s celeb alternative to the LBD) Mariah happily posed for the cameras with her man.

Beyonce
The ever-fabulous Beyonce stole the show when she performed her new song Single Ladies in a fierce military-inspired outfit, consisting of some spray on wet-look leggings, gold Dior gladiator heels and an Alexander McQueen embroidered cropped waistcoat. And if putting on a show-stopping performance wasn’t enough, the star also took home the award for Best International Female.

Anastacia
We really can’t get over how amazing Anastacia looks these days. New hair, new wardrobe, new woman! The singer wore this Marc by Marc Jacobs prom dress with some funky black cut-away heels on the red carpet in Monte Carlo. Anastacia was also one of the many stars to perform during the evening, alongside Alicia keys, Beyonce, Solange Knowles and Estelle, to name but a few... What a line-up!

Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys had the crowd spellbound during her performance, belting out a medley that included song Superwoman and her huge hit No One. In her black satin prom dress, and some seriously killer heels (check out the size of those platforms!) Alicia was one seriously sexy diva. Check the performance out for yourselves when it's broadcast on Channel 4 on 21st November.

MTV European Music Awards:
Sugababes
The Sugababes worked their 'matching but not matching' look at the MTV Europe Awards in a trio of dresses that showed off their pins to the max. We love Amelle's bright blue preen dress!

Katy Perry
Host Katy Perry wore no less than ten outfits over the course of the awards ceremony. The very first was this dramatic number featuring a bustier with green eyes by Jean Charles de Castelbajac.… The green eyes are not unlike Perry's own peepers! Among the singer's other fashion choices was a yellow frock with Barack Obama's head pictured in sequins.

Katy Perry
It wasn't just Katy Perry's dresses that were a feature of the show but her stage sets. The evening saw her singing atop a giant chapstick as well as this pair of larger than life cherries.

Katy Perry
In one of her more weird and wonderful outfits of the evening, Katy Perry wore this monochrome ensemble that was one half tux, the other half prom dress.

Leona Lewis
Looking demure in this ruffled lilac chiffon dress, Leona Lewis worked it on the red carpet in Liverpool.

Kanye West and Estelle
Estelle is one lucky girl. Not only does she have a wardrobe full of fabulous frocks, the singer was on stage last night with hot US property Kanye West to perform their hit American Boy. Kanye went home a winner having scooped the prize for 'Ultimate Urban'.
Different Ways To Apply Eyeshadow:
Easy on the Eyes: A Simpler Way to Apply Shadow
Beauty comes in all different forms, and that goes for eye shapes as well. Depending on the shape of your eyes, you can use eye shadow to play up your features in different ways.
With your eyes open, gaze at those beautiful peepers. Do you see the eyelid or not? Take a look at the picture to the right. Notice that the eyes on the top row have little or no lid, while the ladies on the bottom section do have visible lids. If you fall into the first category, we'll call you a contour. If you fall into the latter, you are a hooded beauty. To check out my instructions for an easy way to play up your eyes based on this principle, read more.
You'll need two eye shadows. To make it simple, choose shades in the same color family, with one being two or three shades lighter for contrast. For tips on color selection based on your eye color, check out my Eyeshadow 101 series or pick neutral shades for a more natural look.
Lightly line upper and lower lashes with a pencil, lining top lashes from outer corner to about two-thirds of the way in, and lower lashes slightly about mid-way. Choose any color you'd like; to keep it simple, I recommend shades of black, brown, or gray, depending on shadow choice.
Apply the lighter eye shadow from the lashline to brow.
For contours: Apply the darker eyeshadow in the crease area (right around where the the upper part of your eyelid meets the lower part of your brow bone). This will create dimension and enhance the depth of your natural crease. For hooded: Apply the darker shadow from the lashline to just slightly past the upper area or your eyelid. Blend well where the light and dark colors meet. This will create a smoky effect and give the illusion of depth as well.
If you'd like, add an additional highlighting shade around the upper brow bone and inner corner of the eyes for an overall lightening effect. Blend out any harsh lines from the shadows and/or liner, and that's it — you're good to go!
Bisous,
FF
