Best and Worst Trends

Hey Girls!!!

To anyone who actually reads this: WATS UP???

Today I'll tell you what i was wearing, and my inspiration and also some other fashion trends, actually only two trends. So firstly i will tell you about what i was wearing, today i was going for a lazier look, here it is:

This outfit consists of a green sweater from forever 21 ($24.80), a pair of skinny jeans from topshop (over $50.00), pink high heels from barneys ($865.00), a chanel vintage chanel bag ($2,250.00), and a quartz ring ($1,390.00). My inspiration for this was the trend: Skinny jeans!

Here is a picture of two models on the runway sporting skinny jeans. One model is wearing a black camisole and the other is wearing a blue sweater and are both sporting black boots.

The next thing i will talk about is trends! The first trend i'll be talking about is one that is hard to pull off, can you guess what it is?

It's black leather dresses! I know this one's a hard one to pull off. Here we have three celeb's who pull this trend off with ease. Firstly we see Anne Hathaway (The devil wears prada) in a one sleeved black leather dress pair with a pair of black pumps. Her hair is tied back and her earrings look great with her pale skin. Secondly we have Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill), she is wearing a thick strapped black leather dress, black pumps, a golden bracelet and a black clutch, as you can see you wanna make sure the accessories with your black leathers dress are well, black or silver. The last example is of Emmy Rossum (The Phantom of the Opera) who is wearing a deep cut black leather dress, black peep toe pumps and has straightened her naturally curly hair. I think that Emmy Rossum pulls this trend off the best with her natural make-up and beautiful smoky eyes, she pulls this trend off with ease!

The second trend i will talk about is one that i think is not so flattering, does anyone care to take a guess?

The trend is feathered vests! The worst trend to sweep hollywood. Firstly we see Solange Knowles wearing a purple feathered vest that makes her look even curvier than she actuallly is, she is also wearing a printed top which sure doesnt go with the pink ankle boots so this one is a no for me. The second one we see Aubrey O'day wearing a long white feathered vest with no top underneath and snake skin boots, that is what we call a fashion no-no! The last example is what i think the best attempt to pull off this trend which is made by Cassie. She is wearing a black feathered vest with nothing underneath but pulls it off better than O'day, a black clutch and bracelet, black latex leggings and black pumps, the out-fit is very black but it's a nice attempt.

At the last minute i decided to add a style winner of the week which is: Elizabeth Banks!!

Here are some thoughts of what i thought of this dress:

Well, Elizabeth Banks has done it again. She managed to top her beautifully romantic gown in last week’s Style Winners & Losers by bringing full-on Hollywood glam to the London Film Festival. While both the plunging neckline and open back are a little much (I would prefer one or the other) there is no denying that the actress shone in this number. I especially love the little bustle in the back and, although you can’t see it here, she topped the look off perfectly with a fur stole.

Next Time: Halloween and Miley update!

Bisous,

Fabulous Fashionista
